Default Difference between Arranged and Temporary Employment

Hi,

There are 2 types of HRDC confirmation:
1) Arranged employment
2) Temporary employment
(Are there any others ?)

Can someone please tell me the difference between the two. In both
cases does the employer need to say that "there is no Canadian suited
for the position offered"?

Thanks
Ankur

Arranged Employment basically means a company offers you a hrdc
approved job offer that you will join once you immigrate to canada
(after years).

From a practical standpoint this part of the rules is an invitation
for dubious job offers by shell companies/ pseudo-family based
immigration to bring in siblings/cousins/other distant but dear
relatives who normally
dont qualify for family based because in the "real" world no employer
can forecast a job opening 2 to 3 years into the future.

In the real world job offers once opened and are generally filled up
within
weeks.

Temporary employement is like h-1b job of united states, you basically
go
to canada right away after few weeks and start working in canada on
work permit.
However the paperwork used to be more onerous than H-1B. I dont know
the status now.

In case of arranged employment it has to say that job is skilled
and the position is not temporaray and the salary is good enough to
attract a canadian.
It is not "there is no Canadian suited for the position offered"

There are 2 types of HRDC confirmation:
1) Arranged employment
- in this a job offer is validated by the HRDC which says that in case
u get PR there is a job available to u and u get the required points
towards your PR application.

2) Temporary employment
- here a job offer is validated(HRDC approval/opinion ) and is sent to
your home country where u apply for the work permit (on the basis of
this approval). Here also u get points towards your PR application.

(Are there any others ?)
-some of the others do not require HRDC approval (Exempted) you can
find all this info on the website.

Can someone please tell me the difference between the two.
-with what i know, the diference mainly is on arranged emplyment u r
not allowed to work/enter until u get your PR while on temporary u can
obtain the work permit and can work even before getting the PR.

cases does the employer need to say that "there is no Canadian suited>
for the position offered"?
-yes, there is a specific form for each and everything has to be
justified by the employer by giving reasons and proofs(like efforts to
hire canadians) and everything is asked in detail.

regards

Thanks Bhaskar.

As Lawrence earlier suggested in asking immigrationfirm.ca. I did and
got a very quick response back (like 3 hrs). He said the following:

Sir,

Arranged employment is for permanent residence as temporary employment
is
for a work visa. In both cases, the employer as to demonstrate that he
is
unable to find a suitable Canadian to fill the job.
