Default Did somebody apply in Vienna?

Hi, All! I would like just to ask whether somebody applied in Vienna. How long does it take? Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Ilchat

You are lucky, Vienna is one of the fastest. Check here for the official CIC processing times:

Vienna is not so fast when it comes to applicants from former Yugoslavia as their security check takes forever.

Oops, I guess averanges, as given by CIC can sometimes be missleading. Hey Discoverynew, does your last name happen to be Milosovich

Thanks Andrew for the detail.

To be honest, I do not understand. Lets have a look at
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/departm...menu-perm.html

We read:
Vienna:30% of cases finalized in 8 months, 80% in 31 months.
My question: What about last 20%? Does it mean that they are never finalized?

It is a percentile not average (wierd way of showing things)

this means If you take let us say 100 applicants and look at their application 8 months after start date you will find that 30 have had their visa issued. If you look at them after 31 months 80 will have their visa issued (that includes the 30 that were processed in less than 8 months). As for the last 20 all this says is they have not been issued after 31 months, so the processing time for these 20 cases is longer than 31 months, how much longer, noone knows.

That's clear... Bit I would like to know when do they finalize all 100%
I would not like to be among these 20%...

Some cases may take months or even years longer than listed averages to conclude.
