Default Decision made ..

Hi, I have got to the decision made, although they do not say what, the decision is. I have been waiting just over two weeks, how long do you have to hear from CIC, I am sponsored by my Canadian wife, not had any requests for additional information, will I have to contact CIC for the outcome. Thank you..

If I was a betting man I would go to the bookies and put $50,000 on your decision being POSITIVE. CIC will either sending the COPR forms are asking for pictures if not supplied. If this was me tonight I would be doing the Happy Dance and having a couple or several drinks.

Agreed with all the above. 99.9999% chance it's a positive decision, especially since they haven't asked for new information. (Unless you are found inadmissible, there is usually tons of opportunity for you to bolster your case before they reject you - asking for more info, more proof, an interview, etc. If you haven't had any of that, then as long as you aren't inadmissible, your decision SHOULD be a positive one.)

If you look at the spreadsheet, look at the time between DM and COPR received... some people get it in days, others it takes 6ish weeks. Read this section of the FAQ for more: Spousal Sponsorship-Canada/FAQ : British Expat Wiki
