Default Dear experts, please help!

Right now I got letter asking to send our passports!

I have a question about entering to Canada. I work in US on H1B. My son is a second-year student of U of T on student visa. Now he will send me his passport, and then I will send our 3 passports (my wife lives in US with me) to Buffalo. Then I will return his passport to Toronto by mail. My wife and me are going to enter before Christmas. What does my son have to do after receiving his passport with PR visa? How can he make landing process, being already in Canada without me?

I really apreciate your advices.

No, he can't land inside Canada. He must land with you or after you, but he
must go to the border anyway, leave Canada and make U-turn before entering
US to re-enter Canada. He can't land before principal applicant.

Thank you very much, Mr. Miller!

Could you answer one more question. US software company, which I'm working for, is interested in my job. Can I continue work for US company living in Canada (staying in Canada) until I find job in Canada?

Yes, you can, as far as Canada is concerned.

Mr. Miller,

IF I work remotely from Canada for a US Company (NO branches and NOT
registered in Canada), aside from the tax issue, how would that affect the
eligibility for Canadian Citizenship 3 years later even if I satisfy the
minimum number of days of physical residency in Canada as required for
filing Citizenship application?

Who you work for or if you work at all is irrelevant. It is your presence in
Canada what counts as you must accumulate 1,095 days of presence here within
4 years prior to application.
