Question Current PR changing job question

So been living in Canada now for about 5 years, got PR around 4 years ago. I'm considering going freelance in the near future and interesting how this might impact on my PR renewal, now I have PR status do I only need to keep to the requirements of duration in Canada (which is basically we're here essentially 11-12 months of the year) or does the renewal of PR also have strict requirements on full time vs contracting which would be up and down.

We can start our citizenship process which would remove this as even being an issue, but before then I want to check if a renewal might hit issues based on this (renewal is in around 1.5 years)

Thanks!

You don't even need to be employed to maintain PR status just have to ensure you maintain the residency obligation of 730 days in each 5 year rolling period.
