Default criminality

I am 35 years old. I have a minor conviction from 1984, and another in 1991.
Neither one resulted in a prison sentence and neither involved violence.
Would this make me inadmissible to canada. I plan to apply under the skilled
workers program.

Thanks,

Michael

That would depend.

You may be better speaking to an immigration lawyer.
But before that dig out all the relevant information from the CIC site and
read it extensively.

I wont ask what they were but some crimes will affect an application.

It may be worth putting in for your police certificate NOW and see what it
has on it.

It is not uncommon for minor offences to miss the system.in the UK. and for
the few weeks it takes to get could be worth the money.
