Criminal record

Hi, I have been offered a job in Canada as a truck driver and will be carrying goods around Canada and to the States.

My biggest worry is, on my criminal record it shows I have been arrested for battery in 2010 (i was arrested but released without charged) which states on it. I have spoke to a local police officer in my area and he said he's not sure how it works but it does have on it released without charged.

Will i have any trouble entering Canada or crossing over to the states because its on my CRB and if so, what can i do about it??

Also do i have to disclose it to the US boarder, when i apply for a I-94
thanks
Ian

Unless you were convicted in a court of law it will have no effect.
