A couple of dumb questions!
Hi folks,
We're going to apply under the federal skilled scheme and just wanted to ask some dumb questions - thanks in advance for any helps!
1- Do both the applicant have to lodge IELTS results? or it's just to be presented by the principal applicant?
2- Based on the country of citizenship can we use any sort of waiver program to by pass the IELTS tests?

1. Principal only.
2. You have to have been born/lived in country where English the mother tongue, all your schooling was in English, English was the language at home and all your work was in English.

I think you don't need to send IELTS result for the initial application to the Central Intake office (CIO)sydney Nova Scotia Canada, its only when they approve your application and send you 120 days letter you need to submitt your IELTS along with other documetns to CIC Visa office that is processing your application.
