If in Section 8 (absences) I put my absence dates

From: Jan 10, 2000 TO: Jan 15, 2000

For how many days was I absent? 5 or 6?

Thanks. Sveta.

If you left Canada on Jan 09 and returned on Jan 16 then you were absent 6 days.

If you left on Jan 10 and returned on Jan 15 then you were absent 4 days (11, 12, 13
and 14th), and so on.

When declaring dates of absence use as a starting date the day next after the one
when you left Canada, and similarly as an end date use the one before the day you
returned to Canada.
