I suggest you seek professional advice from a regulated immigration consultant or immigration lawyer so that they can clearly tell where you stand in terms of the law and what the possible options are.

A forum is a great place to seek opinions (and in some cases, experienced opinions) but you may misunderstand something that you read or the information you get may not be correct.

With something as important as this at stake, you should be fully informed before taking decisions.

As PR you have the right to enter Canada (if you are at the border and it is established you hold that status) but if a report is written up about you for failing to meet the residency obligation at the border, you may later be deported. As for applying for a PRTD, you know this is unlikely to be issued if you haven't met the RO and there are no extenuating circumstances. However, my point still stands: seek professional advice.

just family circunstances, as the mother of my wife is very connected and devited to my doughter, and my father is alone in home, and we have taking decision about what to do with him, maybe he is going to live in Italy with his sister or in Maimi with my brother
