Does anybody know of a different number to contact missuassaga, as i need to speak to someone about the consequences of sacking our immigration lawyer...

I am phoning from London (UK) and the number i have is 001-888-242-2100 and it is always engaged.....

I think 888 is a free phone number. The area code is 289 or 905. It sounds like a general main switchboard number. I take it you have used it before? Perhaps we could use the phone book here to find the number for you? Or you could use Google.ca
Guessing that you might have treid all those options?

The only consequence(s) I can imagine is the present immigration lawyer refusing to co-operate with transferring information/documentation to another lawyer, if that's what you intend. Canada is awash in immigration lawyers/specialists who live on the razor's edge as regards scamming cash from clients and doing very little or nothing to advance the application. Many are unqualified and uncertified as immigration specialists. Caveat Emptor.
