Default Confused about status

HI GUYS I am from Ecuador (Soth America) I am a PR independent applicant. My e-status says DECISION MADE and it looks like this:

We received your application for permanent residence on January 09, 2002.

We started processing your application on February 20, 2002.

We sent you a letter on November 17, 2002 about the decision on your application.

I was interviewed in September.

The letter that I received was a Medical Form. It didn't say anithing about a "decision". The Health examination was "normal" (according to the doctor words). I already paid the Rolf without them asking for it.

I am confused because most of you have had the Medicals before the interview. Do you think they will interview me again?. Do you think if they sent me the Medical papers it meant that the decision was in my favour. Should I start packing? When?..

Thanks in advance for your sincere answers

'Decision made' on e-client can mean any decision made during the process -
a decision about interview or a selection decision, etc., not always a final
decision.

If you have already submitted your medical papers, Please follow the E-Client for a few more weeks & see if the status changes.
I see that you may expect to receive your papers early as you have already given the interview.

i think your situation is more common than you think, from what i have read
most people do their medicals *after* the interview like you because it isnt
until after the interview that the final selection decision is made and some
people must fail the interview so it would be unfair to make them pay lots
of money for a medical then to fail them, also due to the medicals 12 month
validity they usually schedule it as late as possible so as to not delay the
process but allow maximum time to finish and maximum validity for the visa
when they issue it.

so like Mr Miller said the decision they had made was to send you medical
papers, now you have submitted them it is just a matter of waiting for your
medicals to be approved, yoru background checks to be finished and then the
office to get everything together and request yoru passport presuming
everything turns out ok.
Couls take a few months to many months depending on their efficiency etc.
