Confused
It doesnt take much so forgive me for asking the obvious question.
If the CIC office is closed until the 7th May. Do we send applications to arrive the 4th of May and they go in a letter box, or do we send so it arrives on the 7th.?

Hi if I were you I would send to arrive as of 4th and Canada post will deliver when CIC are next open

I would not send with Canada post in the first place. But that is just my opinion. Took them bloody 10 days to deliver a letter from Ottawa to Toronto 
Purolator was always good when we needed to send documents. Regarding the time frame I personally would send for the 4th.

I think that's behind the original question.
If a courier is used, nobody will be there on the 4th, 5th, or 6th to sign for the delivery, so should she aim for the 7th?

When I use a courier it normally takes 2 days so courier it on the Friday and you should be okay. In the worst situation they will attempt to deliver it 3 times anyway.
