Hi,
We (me and my spouse) sent in our skilled worker class application in
October 1, 2003 to London Post from Sweden. Our address changed on
January 2004. One of our friends got AOR within three months after
aplying. But we didn't get it until now! :-(
Post office messed up our address forwarding and told us that all our
letters were sent backs to senders!! May be AOR was one of those!!
We again sent in our updated application on 26th January 2004, with
fee, for our newly born child and still are waiting for AOR.
We faxed an inquiry as well to London office, as no phones or email
are available on the website. We are waiting and waiting....
What should we do now? Ask them via fax or be patient and keep waiting
silently?
Thanks, hoping for a supportive answer :-(

You have done what you can for now. It may take a few months for them to
get everything together though.

Thanks Jim. On your advice I checked if my first bank draft was cashed
or not; Luckily it was cashed on 22nd October 2003. Does this mean
that we are in system and our documents were complete?
On another thread I read that this is not the case, it only means that
fee amount was correct!
Anways, timelines until now are:
Application Sent: October 2003
Draft Cashed: 22nd October 2003
May be AOR was Sent and got lost due to change of address: 10th
January 2003 (just a guess)
Faxed New Address: 15th January 2004 (no reply)
Updated Application sent on: 26th January 2004
Well, still waiting for AOR.

A minute ago somebody threw in something through our door....
To our great satisfaction it was AOR.
Date on AOR: 16th Feb 2004
Got AOR at home: 18th Feb 2004 (took two days to reach home from UK)
15 months waiting period now? Does anyone has idea about the complete
average time after getting AOR from London, UK?
Thanks!
