Common Law Sponsorship - Travel Help
Hey Everyone.
I have a few questions hoping you all can help since you all have some amazing experience, and insight.
My fiance and I are applying for Common Law Family Class. We should have everything together to mail out next week. I am a Canadian citizen (Sponsor) and currently living here in the UK with her (the applicant).
My questions are these. About how long is it to get SPONSOR approval?
Also I booked a ticket to move back to Canada for June 22 because it is my cousins wedding, and I am apart of her wedding party so decided to head back then and start my residency, but then read that if my fiance and I are apart we run the risk of losing our common law status. Also my UK visa runs out here in August. So could she move back with me on the 22nd and stay as a visitor in Canada while we await PR?
On the application when it states when do you plan to return to resume residency in Canada should I put the 22nd of June and explain the wedding situation, and that we dont want to break our cohabitation?
I just want to make sure we go about everything right, and thank you all in advanced for all of your help.

Probably an average of 8 / 12 weeks following receipt of the complete pack in Mississauga. See the spreadsheet link in my signature line for real-life timescales of specific applicants who have volunteered for tracking.
