Hello everyone,
We're going to submit our applications via SW program. The problem is, that we aren't sure how to do this properly and efficiently.
Main problem for now is that we don't know if we should submit our application separetely or together in one form as common-law partners ?
We are couple since 10 years, but we don't live together, we still live with our parents. We also don't have common bank acount!
In my opinion the best way for us, is fill the papework in one form - me as principal and she as my common-law partner, but is it
possible if we dont live together ?
I've collected more points than my girfriend because of my work experience and having family in Canada.
Obviously for us is that we want to emmigrate together, but if we submit our application separately it could be most complicated, and not synchronized...
thanks in advance for your advice.

You are not common-law partners. You are only boyfriend and girlfriend, that's all.
Common-law partners are couples who cohabit together in conjugal relationship and have done so for at least past 12 months. Conjugal relationship is like being married, with all elements of interdependency (emotional, physical, social, financial, etc.) present, just without marriage certificate.
You must apply separately, each on her/his own merits.

THX A LOT !!
to be honest I expect that, but just wanna make sure...
it isn't perfect solution for us, but we must accept it, wish of beeing in Canada is great and we'll do everything to make our dreams come thru![Smile](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
We were twice in Van B.C. and we simply fall in love in that place!
Could you give me some details information about PN (provincial nominee) program in British Columbia,
i heared that it's faster than SW, but is it also more complicated ?
I know that it is neccesary to have an arranged employment confirmed by HRSDC but i dont know how it works exactly? Should I search employment by myself on for example monster.ca etc. or by my family
or there are specific job offers placed by HRDSC and directed only for foreigners ?? I know that Alberta had such as offers on PN program website, but i can't find something similar on BC PN website...
I'm still confusing which program is better for me/us, SW or PN - i've got about 70 points in SW program - [27 years old, Master Degree, 7 year work experience as software engineer/programmer/database architect etc./family (aunt) in Canada].
What do u think which program is best for me ?
once again BIG THX for your last reply...
