Client Application Status

What's the purpose of this tool when they can't be bothered to get it updated? I feel its a complete waste of time to have a tool without a status update. It only frustrate the applicant, are visa official lazy or a psychological tool? Please share your thoughts.:thumbdown:

To be honest, i was starting to feel the same, i'm checking cas religiously and it says the same thing and it's been like that for a month, what are they doing :confused:
