Dear sir(s),
I have a question after having read the Finalized Immigration and Refugee Protection
Regulations.
Could someone please explain to me the difference between the 10 pts awarded for the
"HRDC confirmed permanent offer of employment" in the and the 5pts awarded under the
Adaptability section for "Arranged Employment in Canada factor" .

The 10 points is given for having the validated job offer or one that fits the other
criteria mentioned under Arranged Employment.
The five points is given for having something that would get you 10 points under
Arranged Employment and is earned as an Adaptability factor.
Any clearer? Yes. That is 15 points for a validated job offer or something else that
falls in that criteria.

Section 82 suggests to me that the other types of work permits can also get 10 points
and Section 83 seems to suggest that an additional 5 will be given to those who get
points under section 82.
