I have been wondering the same. What i heard was it takes about 4-5
months in KW area. Could anyone please write their experience?

As long as it takes. Look at the answers already given the first

Maybe you could make it your responsibility to write a newbie instruction letter and post it every day. That way you shouldn't be
bothered by the same questions. Hmm, but then the moody regulars will complain about seeing your letter every day. So you can't win.

That's what newbie newsgroups, books and other tutorials are for.
You'll notice that I gave people a clue as to HOW to look up previous posts
whereas you did no such thing. Perhaps it's because you don't have a clue?
I've been on the internet for many, many years (I was with Al Gore when he
invented it) and have been helping people for almost as many. I have low
tolerance for laziness. Willingness to learn and ask questions gets my help
as long as you need it, but laziness? Nah.

Of course, people will also make unproductive comments like yours
anyway, so I may as well just go slash my wrists.
