Default Citizenship - Absence from Canada

Hi,

I landed in Canada 3 years ago, and I have been working for Canadian
employer from since then. However, I visited US many a times (for short
trips) as part of my job ( attending business meetings at client's site in
US).

From the PR card application, these business trips are not considered as
absence. However, it is not clear from citizenship application whether they
consider these trips as absent from Canada or not.

Will these trips be considered as absence for citizenship or not?

Any info from an authority in immigration/citizenship is highly appreciated.
NO GUESS WORK PLEASE.

Thanks
Mohan

All trips whether personal or business need to be reported on your appln. If
you don't remember exact dates - you can include approx and put a
explanation note.
Remember onus is onto you - if they find out discrepancies your appln can be
denied ; if they found out after citizenship is granted - your status could
be revoked.
