We finally got an answer from the call centre as to why there is nothing showing on e-cas for us. They had lost (or rather are unable to locate as they say) our application. It arrived but no one knows where it is! It has been six months so far under in canada spousal sponsorship/PR and we thought that they must be getting to us soon. Well no! We have been referred to a team leader and we had to send all our documentation again. At first we were told to send a copy of the entire application again along with copies of medical, police, photos etc.! We have our member of parliament on our case now to look into it as well. All we have to do now is sit and wait for them to find it!!!!

That sucks...you aren't alone, I've heard of this happening to other people as well.

Update: cic vegreville found our application after our member of parliament contacted them. We did not need to send a copy of application , thankfully we had made copies or we would have been even more stressed! Turns out the file was listed with first name as last name.
Found out: july 6,2005 received, august 22, 2005 in process. Also just today received visitor extension to december 31, 2006

All we said was spouse sponsorship/pr application in process. We picked the date for a year. It took 22 days.
