Sorry to hear your bad news. However, as stated on this thread, for the sake of all others I do think that you should name your consultants, so that other would be applicants can avoid them like the plague. As Andrew said earlier in the thread it may be a good idea to warn others of such "specialists"

At the end of the day it is your well earned money and your future life and expectations that they are playing with, just to make a quick buck and line their own pockets.

From what I have read they, and quite a few other immigration specialists and lawyers (Andrew, I am not including you in this) seem to be downright unscrupulous and unprofessional in their actions.

I will raise this issue as a separate thread.

In effect if you have sufficient points and are healthy there needs to be a good reason to fail you - unless you are with an agent that is not quite the ticket.

He has written to the Case managment in Ottawa asking them to confront the Head of Immigration in London on there decision, but to be honest, after waiting for so long with your life on hold (as you all can relate to), I would just like a answer now either way (theres only so long you can keep a 1992 Cavalier going).
VERY disappointed with the CIC's decision and the only i'll be having is to drown my sorrows............
Hello Weener
sorry to hear about your refusal. I wonder if you could expand on why you were refused and tell the forum what your rejected qualifications actually. were. I ask this as there are probably many applicants who have applied to Canada hoping that their City & Guilds and NVQ qualifications are acceptable. I really appreciate how you must be feeling and I believe that you maybe able to offer an insight that many others on this forum cannot as to what cic will accept and reject and how many points you were awarded for your qualifications. Once again I am sorry but don't give up

Hi All

I haven't seen the refusal letter yet as its with the "so called" specialist, but it sounds like as there are so many different trades out there, they break down qulifactions and college courses etc into how may hours you studied to obtain the relevant certificate etc.

I will post the name of the "specialist " I used when everythings completed, I don't want to slag him off just yet........

On the other hand I wish you all luck as I doubt i'll be spending much time on this site now for obvious reasons.

Hi Weener,

I really understand how you must be feeling, as we are in the same position as you. It is frustrating, but don't give up. I had a break from this site for a few days to recoup, but I feel there is much to learn from other people on here.

We're not giving up and although it's hard and we have many hurdles to get over we belive we will get there eventually. If you really want to go to Canada, you'll find a way.

All the best to you in the future

Hey weener, I am soo sorry for you, I whish there was something I could do, unfortunately there is not, perhaps your only route is to keep networking and try through the job route, however that may be more like a "snowballs chance in hell" Sorry I only whish this is somehow one big mistake, and some documents got lost. Might be worth applying for CAIPS on your own, if you have not already got them.

Good luck
