Default CIC London....REFUSAL!!!!!!!!!!!

We'll my worst fears came true today......I got the refusal letter sent to my Immigration Specialist saying they have refused my application on the basis of my qualifications .
He has written to the Case managment in Ottawa asking them to confront the Head of Immigration in London on there decision, but to be honest, after waiting for so long with your life on hold (as you all can relate to), I would just like a answer now either way (theres only so long you can keep a 1992 Cavalier going).
VERY disappointed with the CIC's decision and the only i'll be having is to drown my sorrows............

Weener,

Sorry to hear that even though it was very much expected during your last post about the decision made status in Eclient. Pl DON'T worry, wait until you get the letter from them and review it and try to know what went wrong with your case. This way you can at least start your efforts to boost your points if you are still interesetd in Canadain immigration.

Wish you all the best for future!

Sorry to hear about your rejection letter. We got one from CHC less than a fortnight ago, but are in the process of getting them (hopefully) to review our file as they said in a previous letter that they'd give us 90 days to submit more information, which they have'nt done.

Have a drink on me And another

Can anyone let me know, what is the HONEST chances of getting a decision turned around when you get refused on your qualifications. My Immigration Specialist is giving my all the lines at the moment but I need to know the honest answer so I can carry on planning what to do if the future has to be in the UK

So sorry Weener. I have no idea what the realistic chances are of an appeal. Perhaps trying another route would be favourite, any chance of getting a work permit and then applying for PR afterwards? This will increase your points. Very best of luck.

Hi Weener,

I'm so gutted for you, not the news you wanted to hear. Interesting you went with a immigration specialist, how did they asses your qualifications? What was your total score? So hope you can get it sorted, depending on how much you can take(with the waiting) could you go another route, PNP or work visa? Good luck.

Unless there is a mistake in law so that it can be taken to the Federal Court (expensive) I would think that there is very little chance of having the refusal overturned. Your best bet is to wait for the refusal letter to find out where your application failed. Then if you wish to re-apply, you will know what areas will require improvement.

Hi Wendy

I can't remember how he assesed my qualifaications, but the concerning part is he did it BEFORE they were dropped to 67 .
I haven't got the enthusiasm like what alot of people have on here, where they keep perservering, I would just like a answer now but with my immigration guy fighting my case looks like its going to be pro-longed

Hi Weener.........
Myself and my family are sooooooooooooooooo sorry for you, and as you rightly put it your life has been on hold. The specialist you used is an ARSE, and you should post who this was, so that others can avoid them.

Don't quite know what else to say apart from We hope that everything works out in the end for you All, and hopefully something positve will come from this.

Best Wishes to you ALL

Unfortunately there are still many immigration "specialists" who will paint pink picture for you just to get your money and son't care about your chances.

Good, experienced, honest and reputable immigration practitioner will (1) not take the case that has no chance for success, (2) will provide money back guarantee in the contract for all accepted cases, (3) will monitor the process to make sure that there is time to fix problems should they arise and (4) not give you any false hopes.

It may be a good idea to warn others here to stay away from such "specialist".

Weener,
So sorry mate.
Yet another rejection, very sad news.
It really p*sses me off that something as simple & basic as not having the qualifications required is not the first thing they check at AOR, but no, instead they string it out for 18 months then tell you It can't take that long for them to quickly look at your certificates then inform you, can it?!?
Hang in there buddy.

Just one point to make. Even reputable companies will not give money back if you fail medicals as they have no control over that aspect.

Also if you are found to have given false information.

In effect if you have sufficient points and are healthy there needs to be a good reason to fail you - unless you are with an agent that is not quite the ticket.
