Default Child with down syndrome

We have a child with Down Syndrome. Would Immigration Canada deny our application on this basis? Is Down Syndrome considered as medically inadmissible for immigraton purposes? Appreciate your advice.

No one on this forum can give you a definate answer, as the medical results have to be evaluated by Immigration Medical Services (IMS) Drs. But there is a very good chance that you would be refused for "excessive demand on medical services" with a Down syndrome child. But you wont know unless you take the medical. Expensive way to find out, but the only way.
