Default child birth

Can some one reply to this query
interview waived.medicals done except x-ray of spouse.RPRF
paid.Applied from New Delhi.
currently in Toronto on student visa so child birth will take place in
Canada.
Expecting child birth in the month of oct.2003.Child will be born in
Canada.
Somewhere read that child if born in canada gets canadian
citizenship.Is it so ?
What passport the child gets?Canadian?
If the child gets citizenship of Canada then is it required to send
the processing fees passport etc to the processing office.

Yes.

Yup. If you want one.

For what? Your child will be a Candian citizen by birth.

As WebCrawler said "your child will be a Canadian citizen by birth".
Therefore, no need for medical, sending processing fees & passport.
However, CIC will ask you for a copy of child's Canadian birth
certificate (preferably certified/notarized) and an update of
‘Additional Family Information Form' (IMM 5406). To prevent the delay
in processing, I would suggest you to send these documents before CIC
will ask for them.
