Changing Status
Hello,
I am changing my status from visitor to Student. I have been advised that I need to go to Buffalo and come back to get my passport stamped.
My question is do I have to go the CIC in Buffalo or do I do this at the border?

Hi
If you don't require a TRV (visitor visa) or a medical, it can be done at the border. You will be required to show the acceptance letter proof of funds for the tuition, plus $10K for living expenses for the year for a single person, plus an additional $4K for each dependent.
