Default Change of personal information

Hi : I need to report our newborn, but seems that the phone number they've provided
in the AOR (800-992-7037) has been disconnected, Any suggestion ?

PS : Time Line : November 17 / 2001 : Applied for Independent Class from US to
Buffallo Office January 11 / 2002 : AOR Still waiting

Normally they require u to register the baby within 60 days of the birth. U need the passport copies, photos and the completed form for the dependent + fees in order to register the birth.

Amendment of a new family member must be done in writing, and should be accompanied
by the necessary documents and fees. Additional information on this topic may be

Is this the same procedure applicable for a child born in Canada to non-Canadian parents applying for PR? In this case does one have to also send a request for inclusion of the child as an accompanying dependent as well as additional fees to the Visa Office? Also in this case, will there be an increase in required settlement funds?

no a child born in canada, in most circumstances is a canadian citizen, and does not need to be included in the application...

you may want to still inform them by fax or mail of the change of family composition, indicating that the newborn is a canadian, and include a copy of the birth certificate or statement of live birth, so the visa office is aware...
