Change of martial status

Hi

We are in the final stages of my partner's permanent residence application for Canada. We have the entry visa stamped in his passport and he must enter Canada by the end of October. However, we applied under common-law sponsorship and we are about get married. Is there time to resend the permanent residence forms and redo the entry visa? Or, will Canadian immigration accept the current forms and review our marriage certificate at the port of entry? Is this all they require to see, or must we also provide photographs and letters? Our wedding is at the end of September.

Thanks so much!

Get married after landing. If your marital status changes before landing the visa will be invalid and he will not be able to land.
Definitely have him land BEFORE YOU GET MARRIED.
