Default Change of address...

I am about to submit my documents to London visa office but we have just had news that the owner of the house we are currently renting wants to sell, so this now means a change of address.

My question is should I simple tell the London Visa office of the address change within the covering letter, and then point out the address change within the copy of our original application to CIO in Sydney, NS.

Or

Do they require me to fill in a fresh application form with the changes on them and then also state this in the covering letter?

We also have another change to our original application and that will be our passport numbers as we needed to renew them, again this will be told in a covering letter.

Has anyone else had to do this? If so what approach did you use.

Or perhaps I should email/phone the London Visa office to ask them the correct way in which to display this?
Do they have a general help line or email that I could use.

Thanks for all replies.
