A few people seemed to have received emails stating that Ottawa have received medicals and passed.... Are these emails as a result of you sending an email asking for an update or is Ottawa automatically sending these email updates out??
Just wondering as we have not received one.
Thanks

Another friend we know emailed Ottawa and they replied saying they had not got his police certificate, it had been left in Buffalo for 4 months!!!! Their file has apparently now gone back to Buffalo to finalise the case.
I would email them and say you are concerned, especially if the ecas has not been updated. They seem to get back on track if you give them a gentle nudge.
We all have to hear something soon

We emailed Ottawa as we had sent in stepson's paperwork by their deadline and then heard nothing for a month. They had not acted on the docs and apologised, it was then that they confirmed we had passed the meds.

COPR arrived at my immigration lawyers today. Finally. I started all this in Feb 2011 with a BC PNP application. Applied to Ottawa with BC PNP nomination in October 2011 so PR in under 5 months shows the pilot scheme is helping. I was told not to expect anything faster than an 18 month process. Good luck to everyone else out there waiting.

I think so. I got told that even those that made it into the pilot scheme are having files profiled and the ones submitted by immigration lawyers are being processed first as they should have less errors and reasons for refusal. That's a rumour as far as i am concerned but that's what i heard. Meds request to PPR was only 2 months. PPR to COPR was 1month. Maybe i got lucky....

Thank you for your message. We have finalized your application and you will be hearing from the Buffalo Office in the coming weeks on the next steps for Visa Issuance.
Thank you for your patience.
