Happily I see that my e-CAS has switched over from "In Process" to "Decision Made" this morning.

PR Application sent to CIO, Sydney, NS (1/2013).
AOR e-mails arrived same day from both CIO & CPP-O (2/2013).
U.K. Police Clearance Report couriered (signature) to CPP-O (2/2013).
Australian Police Clearance Report & Driver Record couriered (signature) to CPP-O (2/2013).

Re: Case Processing Pilot Ottawa Timelines- please add your experiences
Hi there,
I am a provincial nominee of Manitoba and thought I would add my time scale to the thread and also wondering how long it took people to go from "Decision Made" to actually receive their COPR?
My application for permanent residency was received by CIC in February this year. They started to process it in June and my medicals and RPRF were done and paid around 3 months ago. My status just changed today from "In Process" to "Decision made". I'm going back to Scotland for Christmas this year (December 20) so really hope I get my COPR before then!

We're in the same boat jennianne. We applied 18 months ago and are still 'in process'. I know people say be patient but it's so hard seeing others go past you isn't it. We have renewed our TWP's once and they run out beginning of next April.

I emailed cic 2weeks ago, they replied saying it is still in active consideration for processing. They asked me to wait. But despite being EXTREMELY angry, I am keeping my usual polite demeanor while exchanging communication with them but not sure how long I can control my temper as I keep seeing people getting decision made in as low as 7 months. This is brutally unfair with us.
@Jenninanne: I am planning to contact my local MP's office as well. I applied Provincial nominee application on January, 2012 and my federal application was received in April, 2012. But I don't have any clue which MP office should I contact. Is it provincial Immigration MP or who else? Any suggestion will be much appreciated. Thanks

@Siouxie :
Thanks for your response earlier. I guess 3 of us are provincial nominee applicant. According to CIC website processing time is about 16 months in CPP-O. Disregarding the processing time for nominee application, my processing time for federal portion from April, 2012 to now is already 18 months. So how many more months (or years) they can take, any clue?

Hi All,
I thought that the processing times were for guidance only and cannot be considered firm - I may be wrong!
We applied FSW2 in June 2011 and apart from the regular letter that our application had been received, heard nothing until July this year when CIC requested updated forms.
Since then we have had medicals requested and completed and paid our ROPF. I don't know how long the wait will be now but really, it takes as long as it takes.
Yes I know it is frustrating and its always at the back of your mind but unless there are 'special' circumstances, I don't believe the process can be hurried up.
All I'm trying to say is hang in there and hopefully, we will all be sorted some time soon.

Happily, I received a brief e-mail response from CIC/CPP-O on Wednesday morning telling me that my COPR document is currently in the queue to be printed, and that it should duly arrive here in Edmonton in the mail sometime in the coming weeks. So evidently I'm through (yippee!), and I do sincerely wish good luck to all on here that are currently anxiously waiting for news of the progress of their own applications in Ottawa.

We have only just had medical request (completed then 16 Oct) and paid resident fee.
From everything I am reading (I read and google a lot to find anything out), it seems it should now just be the security checks to be done and depending on how long they take it could take between 2-6 months to get passport request.
However if the security checks are complicated and this depends where you have lived it can go on and on and then this is where people can end up having 2nd medicals.
So I am fingers crossedthat I will get an answer before next summer...but I am fully aware that I may be unlucky and it could take longer,
There really is no set date for finalising things, everyone is different.

Re: Case Processing Pilot Ottawa Timelines- please add your experiences
HI Everyone,
I haven't been on here for a while but thought I would add my experience in case anyone comes across the same problems.
I applied for PR in August 2012, Medicals requested in Sept 2012. They have only just changed our status to 'in process'.
I am in Montreal and our CSQ from Quebec Immigration went out of date during our application. Ottawa said they could not continue to process our application until we had a new one. This really worried us as the law in Quebec changed in the summer regarding French language proficiency and I was worried we would not pass the new stringent language tests. However, after a lot of calling I was able to persuade Ottawa to write directly to Quebec Immigration to request an extension and this worked and we have since received our extended CSQs. Phew!
I'm finding the whole process a nightmare. But at least my status has changed to 'in process' after over a year of 'application received'. Our medicals are now out of date too but they have told us these will be extended too. They surely need nothing more from us, I have sent them all payments, all updated information etc but still there is no indication of when we will receive a decision. Hopefully soon
Good luck everyone!
