Re: Case Processing Pilot Ottawa Timelines- please add your experiences
I sent them additional docs on June, 17, 2013 - Spouse fingerprints & updated info since August 2011 - where we had lived etc..
I noticed "Decision made" on Friday 20th September, 2013.
Hoping to receive COPR soon so we can finalize this whole process. So happy it's coming to the end now.

It's quite funny the way Cic work, I have had decision made on ecas for 2weeks now , I sent them a email asking when I could expect my copr letter and this is the reply I got from my email
Dear Mister/Madam,
Your application is currently in queue to be finalized. Please note that we are unable to estimate the remaining processing time required for your application.

I don't know if you have seen this on the CIC website, but thought I would post it anyway.

All applications received before 1 September 2011 in Buffalo have now been reviewed. All principal applicants who submitted applications before this date should have received a communication from the Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa (CPP-O) office.
If you have not received any instructions or updates from CPP-O and you fall within this group, please contact the Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100 with your name and file number (if known).
Applications received before 1 December 2011 will be reviewed by 31 March 2013.
Applications received before 1 March 2012 will be reviewed by 31 May 2013.
Visas are being issued in this category. The vast majority of applications received before 1 March 2012 will be finalised and visas will be issued by Summer 2013.
Federal Skilled Workers
MI02/03 – All files received between June 26, 2010 and June 30,2012 will be assessed in 2013
MI01 – Files received between Feb 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010: as many as possible will be processed in 2013. There is a commitment to complete MI1 cases by fall, 2014.
Since 2008, CIC has issued a series of ministerial instructions to attract applications that meet changing labour market conditions. The first set of instructions were broad, and attracted more applications than were anticipated or required. CIC attempts to balance the need to process both these older applications and newer ones that may better reflect current market needs. As a result processing times are longer for some of the older applications. We anticipate all applications received between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010 will be processed by fall 2014, allowing CIC to move to a faster, more flexible system

Hi all - I am what I feel is a forgotten Buffalo application. I applied in March 2012 and got moved from Buffalo to Ottawa in May 2012. I am under the FSW category. I am showing 'in process' on the website. I have been that way for what seems like forever. I have had no request for medicals. I have sent emails and just had the same standard response - you are in process, we will contact you if we need further info.
Is there anyone else who applied March 2012 and in same boat? What are you doing and do you have any idea when the file will get finalised?

Thanks!
We landed last night at the Peach Arch crossing - went really smoothly, just got asked a few basic questions (do we have any dependents, have we been arrested, have you been refused entry to Canada) signed the COPR and voila!
Around 15-20 mins total.
So happy it's all over!
the rest of you get yours soon...
