The estimated case processing time for Ottawa is 11 months. Does that mean 11 months from the time my file was transfered to Ottawa 7 July 2012?? That would mean April 2013.
I'm seriously going to lose my mind. I keep seeing other people who seem to have applied after I did getting through this process BEFORE me. My AOR was 28 June 2011, almost 19 months ago.
I'm having to live apart from my husband because I'm stuck at my job and he couldn't find work here. We kept hearing that it wouldn't be long, that my application was almost done, so I didn't want to reapply and go through that whole process again. And the longer I wait, the more I feel invested in this application.
At what point do I give up and reapply as a spouse?
Sorry for my problem-dumping rant. I'm just SO frustrated, and I know a lot of you are, too.

11 months from July 2012 is June 2013 - but like I say, you will likely here something soon.

I'm very confused as i've been told mixed things by my lawyer, CIC and reading the posts on here. I was told and as it states on the CIC website that the processing times at Ottawa are 8 months. I have applied under FSW with an AEO.
My current timelime is as follows:
Application sent to CIO: Aug. 3rd 2012
Application sent to Buffulo: Nov 2011.
Processing began: Dec 2011
Application sent to Ottawa: Approx July 7th 2012
To date i am waiting for a medical exam request, which i think is taking some time compared to others.
Any one out there who has applied under the FSW with an AEO with similar time lines? or can let me know if im expected to have this entire ordeal come to an end soon. lol.

We sent our application FSW2 in June 2011 and have heard nothing except on our CAIPS it was transferred to Ottowa in July 2012

Ye same, and from what i've now heard it it 8 months from when Ottawa has recieved the application. So it looks like it'll be finalized in March....we should hopefully be getting a request to take medicals anytime now....well i hope anyway.
Out of curiousity, did you submit your application to CIO in July or was it with Buffalo in July 2011?

We submitted to CIO June 2011, they sent it to Buffalo August 2011 and then it was sent to Ottawa July 2012. I believe the only thing that has happened since is the Canadian police checks.

Hey guys, here is my timeline:
Application received: Oct 2011
Medical received: May 2012
And since then still in Process! I send them an email few months ago, they told me no further action required! Any hint/suggestion!
