Has anyone else here applied for PR via Inland and also submitted a Work permit at the same time?

What was the process like?

Anyone who's already a Canadian resident (TWP etc.) is sent through Ottowa, I think.

What has everyone's timelines been recently with outland?

Has it always been 6 months at the 1st stage when you can have your work permit?

Hello Guys , I am new here ---

Heres is my timeline
(1) Provincial Nominee Program as International Student with permanent job for several months -- AOR Jan 05, 2012, Nominated March, 2012/
(2) Ottawa received application for permanent residence on April 23, 2012.
(3) started processing your application on May 8, 2013.
(4) Medical results have been received.-- Medical done June, 10 2012 but they updated around August 2012 on Ecas.

I am really getting frustrated as it's taking way too long considering I am applying with in Canada. I am really looking forward to change my job but waiting to get the PR done first. I am not sure it's myth or reality that Canada's top immigrant producing countries Punjab (India), Philippines has quota here in my province that means their federal application has to be processed first (although they are applying outside of Canada), then after filling their quota the rest of the world application will be reviewed. I am meeting these new immigrants, found indeed their application processed in 1 year , maximum 14 months. Is that true??

The way Ottawa is processing Apps these days you should hear soon but I guess it depends on many things, each application is different you can't really compare your timing with others mine tooks almost 25 months and i bet there are others took way longer then mine and i have also seen everything is done withing 6 to 8 months for some people....I was also PNP and applied within Canada...sorry i don't mean to dicourage you I am just telling the truth and i hope yours come soon.... just hang in there it will come as long as everything else is in order

No, no request for passport copies, only an email requesting the fee.
