Hi,
I have recently got PPR from Buffalo and am currently living in UK. I am going to Buffalo on Jan 25 to get the visa in person on Jan 26. I will be taking my wife and son passport with me. My question is
1) Do i need authoization from spouse to take her and son passport?
2) If YES, can i just write a letter of authorization and she signs it or does it has to be stamped by a lawyer ?
Regards

If you're the principal applicant you don't need any authorization (that's what they told me at the window). Having said, that, it's better to have one just in case.

I had a notarized power of attorney and my spouse with me--they did not seem too concerned about anything. I picked the visas up by myself with no questions. But, as a previous poster said, better to be prepared.
