Default Canadian PR consulting in US on behalf of his Canadian company?

Sorry if this question has been already asked, but is it legal for a Canadian PR to start his own business in Canada and then do consulting in US on behalf of his Canadian company, not having a work authorization in US?

In other words, if you're on any kind of temp visa in US, i.e. student etc - is it legal to work for a foreign company beeing in US physically? It should be a common issue - lots of people come to US on temporary visas and don't completely break relationship with their employer in their native country.

This is a *Canadian* forum - your question appears to be about US immigration laws and should be asked on a US forum.

Nope, you cannot work in US without proper authorization. But as JAJ said - you should ask in US immigration forum.
