Default Canadian Immigration

Hi

We are permanent residence of Canada

Two questions regarding Canadian citizenship:

1) As per the rule person can apply for citizenship after 3 or more
years of stay so I can apply for citizenship exactly after three
years or I can send application for citizenship one or two months
before my three years of stay getting completed

2) what if my son who is 5 years old apply for the citizen however we
parent do not apply for the citizen and want to remain permanent
residence of Canada then can my son is eligible for the citizen ?

Clarifications on the above points are appreciated

You must have been present in Canada for 1095 days at least, after all
absences have been calculated. So yes, you can apply right away, but it's
not recommended.

Nope.

No. For a child to apply for citizenship, the parent/s must be Citizens
already, or the family applying as a group.

These details could have been found at the CIC web site...www.cic.gc.ca

You have to meet the residence requirement at the time of submission so you
should not send one in before tha time.
Your son, at age 5, cannot apply on his own because he does not have the
capability to form the intent to be a Canadian citizen.
