Hi All
There will more than likely be a thread somewhere but i have searched all over these threads and cannot find an answer to my question...

My husband has a job in PEI he is a Canadian through birth....I am following him after he is all settled in and found us a place to stay....

My question is
How do i apply for my Permanent Resident..?
How long does it take..?
Do i apply in the UK or Canada..?
When can i start work or training in a new line of work..?
How much does it cost (been told a lot of numbers now)..?
What paperwork will i need..?

Thanks to all who are willing to help and i will pass on any experiences, information to help others...

Before anyone else jumps in, let me suggest that you read the Wiki as it has lots of advice.
My suggestion would be to apply asap as it takes a while. No idea about cost and paperwork but so many have done it that there will be someone along shortly...
