Hi,
Just filling in my forms for the CEC visa but have a question that might sound stupid!
on form imm 0008 - question 4- Immigration office requested for processing?
do i put down london, england or an office in canada?
reason i ask is, i have gained the requirments for this visa thru my previous IEC visa and this year will be going back on another IEC Visa. Hope that makes sence!

Where are you now and what is your status in that country?
You have to either choose the visa office that serves your nationality (so if you're a UKC, you could choose London), or the visa office that serves the country you are currently in, if you've been legally admitted for a year or more.
And just checking, but if you're using your work experience gained on the IEC to apply, you did the full year of working full-time? Just that that's quite unusual, most people don't start work for a few weeks by the time they've found a job, so just thought I'd check!
HTH.

You can't apply via Canada unless you've been legally admitted for a year or more - so unless you want to wait until you get there on your second IEC, it'll have to be London. Personally I'd send it now before you go back so you have the most chance of getting PR before your second IEC expires.
But at the moment CIC aren't distinguishing between visa offices for processing times, it's just 13 months for all, so it shouldn't make a great deal of difference.
