all of the members of the group, my salutations !!!!

it mabbe a common question, I applied for canadian immigration in 2001
and so far i have been waiting and nothing else. meanwhile my bro and
applied for oz and moved over there and now am thinking to join my bro
and apply for oz. so

1. can i apply for australia while my application is in process for
canada.

2. shld i'd have to inform dimia abt canada thing ? if yes then where
in the application i shld specify. however question 52 asks "is any
other visa application is pending" this i suppose applies for any
other oz visas ? or other countries ? if other countries i have
applied for new h1 visa in US, do i have to specify that too ?

3. shld i've inform canada abt the application for oz immigration. if
so tips pls.

Sure, you can.
You can apply for as many PRs as you want, but long-term, you can
maintain only one.
So you will need to make a choice at some point.

Also, if you are required to attend an interview, the officer may ask
you whether you have applied for any other country's residency.
The fact that you have applied for another PR may show that you don't
have 100% intention of settling in Canada.

If you are living in the US, then of course you will have to mention
that.
If you have simply applied for one, then no need to.

Tips on what?
You don't have to inform anyone.
However, if you are asked about it in an interview, you should not
lie.

BTW, you seem to have lots of immigration alternatives pending - US
visa, Canadian PR and Australian PR.
You may get bogged down into waiting and waiting, and then trying to
maintain all your statuses.
Better to decide now and move firmly in one direction.
