Canada Citizenship Eligibility - Physical Presence Question
I'm a PR (as of Jan 1, 2018) before having spent 2 years on an IEC visa. I plan to apply for Canadian citizenship now having calculated that I have the requisite 3 years of physical presence in Canada (2+ years as PR and 2 years, which I'm counting as 1 year, as a temporary worker/resident under the IEC permit).
I'm ready to apply but having read the www.canada.ca website I'm confused as the eligibility criteria states that applicants must have been a PR and have spent three years in Canada - it isn't clear whether applicants must have spent 3 years in Canada whilst a PR. I'm aware that other sections of the website state that applicants can count up to one year as a temporary resident towards the 3 year requirement.
Needless to say, I'm confused - does anyone know the correct answer? Has anyone successfully applied with 2 years of residency as a PR and 1 year as a temporary resident/worker?

Re: Canada Citizenship Eligibility - Physical Presence Question
You can only count HALF the time as a temporary resident, up to a maximum contributing period of 1 year (which is 50% of 2 years).
One year as a temporary resident only contributes half a year.
