Can you have two jobs on a temporary work permit?
Hi
Sorry this is long but any advice anyone could offer would be hugely appreciated.
My fiance and I have been in Toronto since September on a BUNAC visa. We can't extend those visas but my fiance, who is a physiotherapist, is applying for a LMO through his employer. Our plan is to get a new temporary work permit that way and for me to get an open work permit as his common law spouse, as a physiotherapist is skill level A on the National Occupational Classification Matrix. He is also eligable for concurrent processing, so won't have to wait for the LMO before he applies for the permit. I have also been offered a job but we think he has more chance of getting a positive LMO than I do.
However, his job is only two days a week. It is highly possible he will be offered another position for three days a week soon. I know permits are usually tied to a specific job. My question is: Could he get a permit whereby, if he had a positive LMO from each job, he could work for both employers?
We plan to apply for the permits in person across the border in Buffalo. Would this be the best way do you think? We have to visit the UK for two weeks in September and are a little anxious it may not be sorted in time but obviously couldn't apply for the LMO before he was offered a job.
Any advice anyone could have would be most welcome! Thanks for reading : )

I'm pretty sure it has to be a full time job in order to get an LMO approved, but I am not 100% sure about this. Maybe someone could confirm?

No LMO and no standard work permit will be issued for any part time job.
