Hi all,

I am currently waiting for my LMO to get approved/rejected for a job I got offered in SK.

Bizarre question but does anyone know whether I am able to be in Canada whilst this process is on-going? Or do I have to stay in the UK until i get confirmation? After all, I assume the confirmation will be an email that i just print out?? Or is it a hard copy certificate that gets sent to my home address?

I have a friend I can stay with in BC so was thinking of heading out there to break up the journey - entering the country as a tourist with a return flight ticket so not to alert any odd questions from the customs. I would then wait to hear the news. (the process has been in action for over 2 months now)

Or is this a silly thing for me to do? Could it complicate things?

Any help would be appreciated

IMHO it could complicate things as you have dual intent to work primarily and not in possession of the LMO.
Ask yourself this if you were not intending to come to Canada to work would you be visiting your friend?

PS: yes, I would be visiting friend anyway as I did it twice last year.
