Greetings,

I will be landing in Canada from the US next month. And then, after 2 weeks
plan on going to India to get married. Would I be able to sponsor my wife even
though I would not have a job in Canada until I get back from India? I have
enough $ to sponsor her to come to Canada. I would appreciate hearing from
anyone who might be able to shed some information on this.

Andrew Miller

You must establish your residency and live in Canada permanently to be
eligible to sponsor anyone. So, you need to return to Canada and start your
life here before you can start sponsorship process.
