Default Can I enter Canada as a visitor with my Canada PR spouse?

Hi!

My spouse is a Canada PR, but I need visa to enter Canada as a visitor.
I am in US in working visa.

If I and my spouse drive a U-Haul truck full of household stuff entering
Canada, how likely will the Canadian immigration let me in?

Will the immigration officer see the circumstances as strong proof that I
have intention to migrate - regardless of proof of work commitment in US -
and therefore reject my entry?

Thank you.

What commitment? H1 visa? You must be kidding.

You will most likely be refused entry under the circumstances you just
described.

Let's see here..."I know it looks like I'm moving all my household stuff
in the same vehicle as my wife, but really, inspector...I'm returning to my
employment in the USA tomorrow. Really".

Not only would you be turned around, there would be a possibility of
your goods being seized at the border.

If you can get your tourist visa, you may. But.......

If you have a tourist visa, why don't you go first ahead of your spouse and
"visit" Canada. Then, your spouse can enter with the U-Haul truck at a later
date, and you can help her unload once inside Canada. If your spouse need
help driving the truck, then you have to ask somebody (preferably one who
doesn't need a visa to both Canada and US) to drive it for him, even for
just a short distance (like, nearest US city to nearest Canadian city)?

I'm not sure if this would work, but it might be worth a try. You are
returning back to the US, right?

Good luck!
