Default Can I apply without my spouse's information? Please help..

Dear Madam/Sir,

Could you please help me with this question?

I want to immigrate first and then sponsor my spouse. Can I send application without my spouse's information since it will be less burden for me at this time?

Thank you!

If you are married then you must include all your spouse's information even if your
spouse doesn't accompany you to Canada. Keep also in mind that your intentions will
be questioned if you want to immigrate without your spouse.

You can apply to immigrate first without your spouse, and explain that your spouse
will follow you at a later time, but you still have to provide all her information in
the additional family form. If your application is approved, then you can sponsor her
later, although I dont understand why you would want to do that, as it will take up
quite a bit of time, 12-24 months just for your application, and if you are approved
and land, then you need to demonstrate that you meet the financial requirements, and
then sponsor your spouse which can take an additional 6-12 months. It would make more
sense to apply together.
