Had my document check a few days. Turned out I had 1094 days. Reason: CIC's web-calculator did not include 29-Feb-2008 when I was out of Canada.
The officer said it is not your fault. He, however, did not give me the brown envelope in his file with my name on it, stating this I can't give you. He, then asked a few questions, checked stamps on my passports and said a citizenship judge will review your file and let you know, you are now good to go. (no test over 55).
What do I make of this?

ok , you may have to fill us inon a few details
What document check?
what is your status in Canada?
what was going on when you had this conversation?
what "officer"?
what "brown envelope"?
Sorry , crystal ball is cloudy today

My crystal ball seems to be working fine... 1095 and "no test over 55" being the big clues
Woulnt worry about it. Its an inconvenience, but as long as you havent skipped the country and are living in Canada still I dont suppose it will affect much in the long run.
Dunno why you would apply for citizenship so close to the cut off number rather than wait a week or so... Congrats on finally posting by the way, 4 years must be a lurking record

okay , take your point with that but it still wouldn't hurt to provide a few more details?
was this at the test then , or the ceremony?
I wasn't aware their was a "document check" that was done with you present.
As far as I was aware , you send your stuff in , they call you for the test ( or not if exempt).
So it would be useful for those of us waiting to know

Waited a week? If only I had waited one more night. How was I supposed to doubt the computer in a million years? This is actually humbling on part of the cic programmers, I think. I am curious what the letter (he kept) said. I am a 60 year old woman, living in Canada for almost a decade now. Came here as an investor. I hope to have my status here now come full circle.
Thank you Ian and Zoe
