Hi,

According to www.caips.ca:

'This example above, from the Canadian High Commission London, means that the file is currently in the storage area "PA". The next action is allocation of an interview date "CPT". A program assistant will be prompted to allocate the interview date on "15-01-2003" (note this is dd-mm-yyyy format, so this means 15-Jan-2003). On this date the visa office will open the interview diary and schedule an interview. '

Hope this helps.

Mike

Your caips file doesn't say anything about when interview will be scheduled.
BF'D means - bring forward date. It is just a reminder to look at your file
at BF date if no activity happens before and it doesn't mean that anything
else will happen at that date. If officer is satisfied that all tasks are
progressing then she or he will enter another BF date and put file away
(PA).

NY in your caips file doesn't necessary mean New York - in most cases it is
just an internal code or initials of officer the BF'D reminder is set for.

You should read the date as August 4th, not April 8th
