CAIPS notes question

I have applied for a visa through the Entrepreneur Visa class in 2009, London visa office. I am aware that there is a long wait.
So I recently applied for my CAIPS notes, mainly to get an rough idea what date my application would be reviewed or processed by a VO.
My CAIPS notes show 'PAPER FILE SENT TO: PPS BF FILE TO: PPS ON 05-06-2011'
There is no other Bring Forward Date on my CAIPS.
My question is regarding 'PPS'. Would 'PPS' be the initials of the visa officer or would this be an acronym for 'Point of Paper Screening stage'?
Also am I correct in thinking that my CAIPS notes should show a future BF date?
If so what should I do?
Thanks

Re: CAIPS notes question

I am thinking that your file was moved to the new computer system GCMS or Global Case management System. That is my guess because there should indeed be a future BFDATE shown.

Thanks you for the reply Mr Humphries,
I am not sure what the significance is but CAIPS notes also state:
'DUE TO THE NEW FILE RETIREMENT POLICY, THE PREVIOUS RECORD FOR APPLICANT IS STILL IN CAIPS.'
Have you any idea what 'pps' stands for, initials or acronym?
When I received my AOR, I am told not to contact CIC before 48 months have elapsed, I am 42 months in and 6 months to go. Should I wait for 6 months to elapse before I contact CIC and query the BFDATE?
Thanks

Re: CAIPS notes question

PPS is the initial decision based only on the application information which is not confirmed at the time. you left a lot of information out of your initial post so the answer could not be helpful in those circumstances.
