caips decode

hello everybody,

i've found 1 more link explaining the section of caips notes. it's http://www.caipsretriever.com/sample_caips_file.htm

on this page section "4. Immigrant assessment record summary", in this section whatever points are mentioned is it given by the visa officer or is it claimed by the principal applicant?

and about section "5. Case validity dates", whichever date is mentioned underneath the "visa" heading, on that date the visa will be issued? or something else.

please suggest me, thanx

Re: caips decode

Immigrant assessment record summary - The points are those assessed and awarded by the visa officer based upon your application and supporting documentation.

Case validity dates - The date against Visa is the expiry date of the visa, i.e the date before which you must officialy land as a permanent resident.

Re: caips decode

hello,

in that case in my CAIPS notes total points mentioned in "Immigrant assessment record summary" is 71 in one row and another row everywhere is 00, whereas the visa officer has explained each section and gave me the total points are only 63 on the day when i was being issued medicals.

why these 2 points doesn't match? i think the points mentioned in "Immigrant assessment record summary" should be the one which i claimed coz it is exactly as i did.

does anybody have idea about this? please help.

thanx once again for your time and consideration.
